A human chain was formed in Rajshahi on Saturday to demand the cancellation of the new curriculum. The demonstration took place in front of Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) around 11 a.m., with about fifty students and parents participating.

Speakers at the event criticized the new curriculum for undermining the previous creative education system. They argued that the new curriculum is causing students to lose interest in reading and become increasingly reliant on various devices. They also expressed concerns about the lack of effective merit evaluation and criticized the symbolic grading system as inadequate. The sudden implementation of the new curriculum, without prior preparation, was described as detrimental to the education system. They called for the government to overhaul the education system to better meet students' needs.
